Bakki Hostel open house a great success
On May 14, 2015, Bakki Hostel & Apartments opened the doors to the brand new hostel for an open house. Over 100 guests attended, where the slide show of the building’s 70-year history was made to a standing-room-only crowd of all ages that filled the space. Not bad for a small hostel in a town of 500 people! We were overwhelmed by the support from the community and proud to show what we have accomplished since tackling the construction in this part of the building last autumn (the apartments have been open for booking since last summer).
We are putting the finishing touches on the place and will be opening for business soon!
